The Annual Awards Celebration is Thursday, May 24 from 5:30-9 pm at Tuality Health Education Center. The celebration is a long-standing tradition of the Greater Hillsboro Area Chamber of Commerce. It is always an exciting event, since many of the winners remain unannounced until the awards presentation that evening. Award categories include the following: Emma C. McKinney Distinguished Citizen, Robert R. Herb Leadership, Business of the Year, Volunteer of the Year, Agriculture Achievement, Organization of the Year, Outstanding Professional, Philanthropic Leadership and Distinguished Youth. This is your chance to show tribute to Hillsboro’s shining stars. The event features a cocktail reception, gourmet dinner, talented local high school entertainment, and the much anticipated awards ceremony.
