Event Description: In today’s economy, making large cash donations to our school programs is a stretch on everyone’s budget. However, we all have trash, broken consumer and computer electronics, laying around in our closets, garages and/or attics. Help the Liberty High School Wrestling team by donating your broken and discarded and unwanted’ metal, consumer and computer electronics (including cell phones, computers and laptops) and you’ll not only be helping the program, but you’ll be helping the environment by keeping that trash from ending up in a landfill. On Saturday, May 3rd, from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm, the Liberty HS Wrestling team is hosting a Community Recycle Event Fundraiser at Liberty High School. As a fundraiser, they are requesting a suggested donation of $10/car. All proceeds and funds raised through this event goes directly to support the Liberty High School Wrestling program. Recycling services will be provided by EG Metals, Inc., an Environmental Technologies company with headquarters in Hillsboro, Oregon. EG Metals is a Certified Electronics Recycler adhering to responsible recycling practices in protecting and recycling your computer and cell phone electronics with full end-of-life destruction of all electronics. ITEMS ACCEPTABLE • Computers – Laptops / Towers • Keyboards, Mice, DVD/CD Drives • Cell Phones and Chargers • Power Supplies / Circuit Boards • Printers / Copiers / Fax Machine • Scanners / PDAs / Flash Drives • LCD Monitors • CRT / TV’s ($15 Fee) • Household Electronics • Wire – Christmas Lights – Cords • VCR/DVD Players – Digital cameras, A/V Stereo • Telephones • Clean Hard / Rigid Plastics • Water Heaters, Wood Stoves • Scrap Metal (Mowers / Farm Equip) • Batteries – Cell phone, Laptop, Auto (NO Alkaline). • Appliances (W/D, Refrigerator*, AC Units, Stoves) • Auto Parts – Motors, Starters, Alternators, Brake Parts • Aluminum, Brass Copper [*All Freon must be removed] Thank you for supporting the Hillsboro Schools, specifically Liberty!
