Evan Aldrete and Tyler Geel are two entrepreneurs with a dream to connect with and thrill people with out-of-the-box ideas and hospitality. They started Insomnia Coffee Company in Hillsboro in April 2007 which has become a family of three neighborhood coffee shop locations, a roasting facility and most recently, a Portland showroom/cafe. Both are musicians and family guys: Evan and his wife have their hands full with four little ones; Tyler and his wife are busy with two. In striving to create places to connect and be comfortable, Evan and Tyler have found a stellar home in Hillsboro and are continuing to plug in and serve the folks in this growing community.
