Event Description: This year we pay tribute to Karen Schouten with the Museum's highest honor The Heart of Washington County Award. Please join us as we salute this long time Washington County resident, Intel project manager, and community volunteer. Karen was a long time supporter of the Museum, and served as a volunteer with the Democratic Party, Beaverton Sister Cities Advisory Board, Beaverton Neighborhood Association, and the Oregon League of Conservation Voters. Her husband Dick and family will accept the award. The Heart of Washington is given to a member of our communities who has made significant contributions of their time and talents to making this area such an amazing place to live!
