Main St. Hillsboro, OR 97123 Phone: (503) 645-5353 Event Description: The Washington County Museum will host a Free Family day on Saturday, June 13th from 10:00am - 1:00PM, with the theme "Technology: From Primitive to Present Day!" Washington County has long been the home of innovators. Guests will have a chance to view the Museum's exhibit "This Kalapuya Land" and interact with primitive technology, as well as learn about the vibrant history that gave Washington County the nickname "Silicon Forest" with the exhibit "Innovation in Washington County. "Local organization, Engineering for Kids, will have Lego robots on hand for guests to build and operate. Participants will also have the chance to make a craft to take home.
