Congratulations to the Portland Metropolitan Foodie Passport Program Winner: Spencer Wilson "I learned about the competition because someone forwarded a news article to me, says Spencer Wilson, winner of the Portland Metro Foodie Passport Program. "I felt so blessed and privileged to not only participate in the contest but win."  The Foodie Passport program was designed to take the passport holder on a journey to experience some of the best food and drink establishments in the Portland Metropolitan Area. The Black Business Association of Oregon (BBAO) plans to leverage the public dashboard they published in Fall 2023 to develop a strategic plan. This plan will be proposed to the entire Oregon populace to outline measures promoting sustainable and equitable economic prosperity amongst Black Oregonians. This strategic plan forms a crucial component of the broader Black Economic Prosperity Agenda, an initiative devised by several Black business owners within the Portland Metro Chamber in 2020.
