Gorgeous building, interesting programming lineup including various cultures, very accessible location with a MAX stop right outside. Plenty of food options, including a giant food-cart pod, nearby. (They do serve snacks and beverages inside, including the Reser's own private-label line of beers made by a local brewery!)
Our seats were in the back of the balcony yet we could see and hear great. Truly not a bad seat in the house. The Reser participates in the Arts for All program, making shows affordable for low-income people (and you don't have to live in Beaverton for the benefit).
The staff is incredibly helpful -- just call if you have any questions; they will return your call if you leave a message.
There is an art gallery but it was closed for storm damage when we were there -- the building itself has many visual delights, though. You already are feeling artsy before the show starts!
Kind of a model of what a theater should be, and what cities and rich people should do with their money.

      Great addition to Beaverton..
.. Comfortable seating with plenty of legroom. Interesting selection of performances and welcoming atmosphere. I've only been to four offerings but haven't been disappointed.

The Reser is a new about 550 seat hall for music, film, dance, and theater performance in Beaverton. It has been a dream in the making and now it is here.

The concert hall has orchestra seating and a balcony with loges. It is modern with a lot of wood. There is a lab space, a simple one story room, for events too. They have opened the building with an art show in their good size gallery, and throughout their spacious two story lobby. The first art show is work made by regional Native American artists. They are booked out for a year with their visual art shows.

Their opening season of performances brings world musicians, the Oregon Symphony, and dance, with traditional and contemporary works.

The public art includes a slowly turning stainless mobile, like a satellite chandelier, in the lobby, and a mirrored and illuminated ribbon outside. There are some graphic art works outside on the building too.

The building is adjacent to The Round and the TriMet MAX Blue Line. Their website explains parking, bike parking, dropping people off, and disabled permit parking. Between the restaurants in The Round, and nearby downtown Beaverton, there should be many food options within a short walk.

The Reser is the performance venue Beaverton deserves, and Portland will love it too!

Welcome to the neighborhood Reser! I have been a resident since 2005 of this area and have heard the tales for all those years of the dream to make our area as a destination versus speeding through. It was wonderful to see such a beautiful building open. Before the pandemic I had a ticket for Bodyvox and Chamber Music NW's 1920 show which was refunded because... pandemic. It was wonderful to see this show here as one of the first performances at the venue and I have another performance I am seeing here next week.

There are a great many parking options through the area including lots, garages and street parking. Pro tip is to make a night of it and grab food before. You have so many options! The food cart area is super close or have a sit down for sushi, Thai, Italian...

There are many galleries with art to explore and several amazing art installations inside and outside the building. Much of the interior is covered in native Douglas Fir and the building is right against part of Beaverton Creek, our local wetland.

My only minor complaint is that the elevator is singular and rather slow so as someone in a huge boot thanks to a torn Achille's it can be frustrating as are people who jump in front to take the elevator before you get to it... And then there were the (NOT JOKING) three separate sets of people who stormed in front of me to get into the doors before me...yes, people are rude and horrible to us who have a cane for a reason. It happens A LOT unfortunately - believe me folks, I WISH I could move faster and be out of your way.

The ushers were wonderful! I had booked a seat in the box area not knowing what I was in for and hoping I would have room since having "the boot" and cane makes me getting around awkward. One of the ushers guided me and I was supposed to sit at the end. The seats can be moved and there are four. A couple was there and the usher asked if they could...and we all just figured it out - it was perfect so they were together and me etc. I looked down and around and WOW...their seats can fit you...and you and you! I had a lot of seats I grabbed pre injury then went in injured... But also, not everyone is tiny - people have long legs or need extra space for them or body things - even my cane sometimes is like...where can I ...? But the seats have space and also there are a lot of options for ADA which are marked if you need space for a device.

The stage is lovely with lots of space for so much! I cannot imagine there being a bad seat in the house also.

Was fortunate to see Noth West Children's theater present Elephant & Piggie's We are in a Play! What a beautiful theater, with fantastic acoustics and lighting. The actor and actresses were enthusiastic, playful and divine performers. My children were enraptured by the performance. My little girl said to me afterwards: "I had to use the restroom in the middle but I didn't want to miss anything so I held it. It was such an awesome show!"

They are right next to a parking garage for easy parking. And with the BGs food cart pod a block away would make a fantastic date night. Can't wait to see another event there soon.

Easy parking, a spanking new gallery and content that's fresh and provocative. I saw the Studio abioto installation and the opening and closing night performances were uplifting and haunting and funny and wise and delicious!

We attended "New Year's in Old Vienna" and were very impressed with the new facility. The seats had plenty of legroom, parking was close, the music was fun and professional, the restrooms were close and the patrons were fun to be around as well. Such a special evening! Thank you to everyone involved!

Such a beautiful and convenient center for all kinds of entertainment. We've enjoyed 3 different venues and all good seats no matter where you sit. Beaverton is lucky to have this and hopefully support them for years to come.

Went with some girlfriends to see a Jazz concert. The view was great, the seats comfortable and the acoustic was amazing. A delightful spot.

here is a twist - a review from an artist on the stage!
This is a new Portland area theater (Beaverton) modern, elegant, lots of architectural forms with wood, stone, smooth lines. We check out the little gallery in the lobby, local art. The sound on stage was good, not too boomy but wildly large. The crew were polite, smart, knowledgeable. From the stage one can see so much of the audience, they feel close. there is a gentle slope upward, two balconies that don't put people a mile away. I think It is about 600 seats. There are plenty of bathrooms and the dressing rooms are easy to navigate, near the stage and each has its own bathroom. It looked like a great place to see a show. I'd enjoy coming here to see a quiet act of any sort.
